Meet KENYA’S POOREST CELEBRITIES...You Will Be SHOCKED To See Who Is on The List .

Behind the celebrity glamour in the television comes another new real life besides that of hired flashy cars and clothes. Unfortunately, many kenyans think that simply because an artist appears on TV he/she has money and own the world. You will be shocked as some of the celebrities you adore on TV are beggars on the street and can’t even pay their own bills.

A certain Kenyan blogger has gone to the ground and unearthed some of the poorest Kenyan celebrities See what they found out...

First in the list we have Shaevy and Slice of the club banger “Gyal” . Infact the two have even diehard fans in Jamaica with their songs having topped charts there. But with the poor management they are your average hustler. Shaevy is a route guy or simply a matatu conductor with the 1960 Kayole buses. He is also a regular beggar of weed and cigarettes in the streets from his fellow lost brothers. His counterpart, mellow voiced Slice is said to be hard on weed and a jobless in the street. More shocking is that he sometimes goes insane as a result of drugs and he still lives in his parent’s home.

Many also know Bobby Mapesa and V.B.O who brought you “Naskia Utamu” which is still a club banger. You expect such artistes to have earned hugely from the song but they are average hustlers. Bobby mapesa lives in a single room in Huruma and a con to most of upcoming artists charging them to do a collabo and later vanishing. V.B.O is a matatu conductor with 1960 Kayole buses and is always seen loitering in the streets.

To add to the list is Jimwat of the famous ” Under 18 hit”. Many wonder where he vanished to but trust Uhondo254 to unearth for you. The guy is broke and currently lives in his parent’s home. He is at most times spotted in Kikuyu town drinking cheap keg beer with mtaa boys
We also have lyrical erico of the “Bambika” hit fame back then who is a Mitumba seller in Gikomba and still struggling to make good music.

Not forgetting Hopekid who won 2013 Groove Award and the 2014 for ragga artist of the year who is struggling to pay bills in Kayole. Hopekid is also notorious for conning churches and individuals around. Several churches have complained for having being conned by Hopekid after sending him money only to fail to attend the concerts and never returns the money back. An example is a church in Kayole known as Victors of Faith church in Kayole and a customer who sold clothes to him only to vanish.
