“Your Ignorance Couldn’t Stop Your Drunk Brother From Dying Like A Dog!” Angry Kenyans Fire at Robert Alai after He Made Insensitive Comments about Mama Lucy’s Death

Things are really getting out of hand and people are making some really hurtful comments on Twitter following the death of Former First lady.
While Kenyans were mourning Lucy Kibaki Robert Alai decided to use this as a teachable moment and posted this:
What these corrupt leaders looting Kenya will discover is that no amount of loot will insulate them from death.
Our mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers are dying daily due to preventable diseases but since greed precede service, the deaths will never end.
From Hospitals in Kiambu, Isiolo, Isebania to Malaba, we can't get proper medical care because someone must steal. Our hospitals dampens the hopes of patients as our leaders seek treatment in foreign lands.
Even the 7-star Bupa Cromwell Hospital could not stop the death of Lucy Kibaki. Not even with the loot from the regime of her husband. She couldn't raid the news desk of death announcer to stop death.
I pray that our leaders remember to equip local hospitals because their greed is killing many more.
Below is the picture of the reception at Bupa Cromwell Hospital and KNH. Compare and contrast.

This post has caused a flurry of reactions with many slamming Alai for the post above that many felt was out-of-pocket and ill-timed. Check out the reactions below:
Qanash Hellen :The regime of her husband...it was a nusu mkati government.I however did not hear you speak of Fidels death like this. You actually asked us to pray for mama Ida as she was devastated.I prayed for her.I did not see you question why Raos money couldn't buy Death out of Fidel's way,or how comes the looting of Raos side of coalition never helped the young man out of his death. It is a shame that we cannot sympathize with bereaved families but want to create more pain for them. Perhaps one day, when someone you dearly love dies, you will learn the value of sympathy.
Evan Githui :Well said and your ignorance couldn't , stop your drunk brother die like a dog . Raila son couldn't see another day due to ignorance of cord , and their Lord of poverty who is now fighting against the devolved health care that National Government is equipping.Cord Noise couldn't stop the death of them. Look in the bright side dont always hate there is time for everything.
Irene Jack: I thought the death of your brother sometimes back taught being bad or good, u will still die, respect those who are mourning their loved ones.
John Alvil Ochieng: Only fools will not see anything positive about this post, there is no hate here, compare and contrast the two photos above, our leaders don't equip our hospitals yet will run to a 7 star to get treatment leaving the common mwananchi in such a state, but we are too blind that even when they loot our funds we still have the energy to defend them, who will defend us if not US, issues like these need to be raised more often.
Lizz W Mugo: I wish death could strike your family so that you know the pain that is usually left in the hearts of friends and relatives. I personally knw how one feels. When Fidel died,I could imagine the pain that rao and his family had after losing their son.Don't you think the same pain is left in the hearts of Kibaki's family and mama Lucy's friends?? Try and tame yourself. You might cause disaster frm God to yourself. Death will never choose which family to strike,it does nt recognise a king nor his servants, rich nor poor....It's God's decision on who to leave, and you can't predict your time too, maybe hata hutapatana na miaka ya Lucy Kibaki....
Josphat Koech K: Why did you wait for this to happen so that you talk of him looting? Why didn't you do that all that time yet you have been online 24/7 ?Is it mocking him or what? Yes let us talk of looting. Let us expose the looters who are looting our money? But this is not the time to attack someone who has lost his wife. Where is humanity?
But if you want us to talk of looting, then I thought we were having a coalition Government and your god was a Prime minister. What was he doing when one was "looting"?
Was he praying aside and asking God to stop the "looters "?
Arthur Kamau: It will still strike your door step.Don't celebrate js yet. We all must face the taste of death and not even seven star hospitals will prevent it.Core function of doctors is to prolong life and not to prevent death. Get facts right. #gocelebrate
Michael Kisaka: Let the dead mourn the dead, let the living speak the truth. I espouse your sentiments Robert Alai Onyango. whoever is drunk with power now should know that natural calamity doesn't discriminate. if you move around slapping people and raiding media houses lawlessly, natural calamity takes the revenge.
